Odyssey of Gianna is a traditional JRPG with some very non-traditional gameplay innovations. You haven't seen status conditions used quite like this before!

Gianna is a world of many perils, with over 100 enemy types who can inflict your party members with a wide variety of status conditions. These conditions will change your characters' portraits, their statistics, and sometimes even their class!
In addition, almost none of these conditions are strictly negative! A character may be turned to stone, but a passage may need you to place their statue to proceed. There may be a small hole that only a party of miniaturized characters can pass through. A character may be transformed into an onahole, but you can use it on enemies to help defeat them!
Among these statuses include transformation styles such as Object TF, Petrification/ASFR, Bimbofication, Drones, Fantasy Race TF, Puppets/Dolls, and more!
You can keep track of all of these status conditions in the Status Journal, which updates whenever you experience a new one!
Take the three starting party members and seven more that can be recruited - each with a unique base class such as Mage, Warrior, or Rogue - and add the variety that comes with class-changing status effects, and the possible combinations for your party are infinite! With your chosen party, face off against memorable bosses and fight your way through over a dozen dungeons with unique mechanics!
Level up and spend Job Points to unlock skills in the order you choose - some of which will still be kept even after changing classes!
Losing or surrendering to an enemy will trigger a Bad End cutscene, featuring a wide variety of fetishes, including mind control, petrification, enslavement, encasement, possession, gyaru/bimbofication, time stopping, corruption, and many more!
Getting a Game Over this way only sets you back slightly, as you're not forced to reload a save file. And after that, you can re-watch that Bad End cutscene as much as you like! Best of all, defeating a boss unlocks Bad Ends you haven't seen in that area!
It is the year 1200 AG and the Parliament of the influential city-state of Gianna has issued a command to Lilina Markos, Princess of the royal family and sister to the Queen, to gather a party and retrieve the six legendary Orbs - a task no one has ever completed before. If Lilina is successful, she returns the Orbs to Gianna and the land will flourish! If she is unsuccessful, then Parliament has managed to eliminate the sole heir to the throne...
After she sets out with her childhood friend and mage Sinian (an elf) and her undyingly loyal bodyguard Sable (a cat-forestkin), you can choose which path Lilina should take. You hear a rumor leading you to the corrupt town of Sea Market to the east where slaves are traded in broad daylight, but you may choose to head north to New Rokkas, a town famous for its bimbo-filled Slut Bar and the game of Spellball, where being hit with the ball can cause any number of transformations.
Or perhaps you'll head west, towards Woodrot Forest. Rumors say that travelers who trespass there are turned into trees to join the Giants' grove or sealed in cocoons by cruel Arachnes - but you may also come across the Cathedral of the Spirit, whose nuns will surely be of aid to the Princess herself

I can't recommed this game enough.
The Gameplay and Graphics are as expected from a RPGmaker game but the Gameplay mechanics and the writing are very very good.
I found myself invested in the worlds story multiple times and the huge world to explore combined with the fun gameplay loop and the 10 unlockable characters makes sure it takes a while until anyone gets bored.
The Community is very impressive as well with an active discord and a suprisingly big modding szene.
Just do yourself a favor and try the demo
One of the best transformation-based RPGs I've ever played
When I first found this game, I have to admit I was unimpressed. The game looked quite simplistic at first glance. But boy was I wrong!
Once I actually started playing, I couldn't put the game down. Odyssey of Gianna is a very deep game, there is so much effort put into it, from the vast overworld to explore to the humongous amount of status effects that it has to offer, to the very complex game mechanics. Because each of the many status effects offers something very unique, some open up entirely new combat classes for your characters, some can be used to solve puzzles, and some are straight up debuffs (which is also great, those are my personal favorite ^^)
One minor gripe is the fact that the game can be a bit cryptic at times (one part on the quest for the White Orb comes to mind). But that's just a nitpick, overall the game is amazing, a must play for anyone who loves hypnosis- and/or transformation games.
Oh yeah, there is also some futa-stuff in the game, but it is very unintrusive, so that shouldn't be a turn-off for anyone who's not into that.
Quite possibly the best lewd game I have ever encountered. And a very solid RPG even if you stripped all the lewd out of it.
This is a game that goes for breadth of content over depth, much like for example Skyrim. Dungeons are relatively short and all have their own themes and statuses. Art is simple but consistent and very abundant.
TL/DR: An NSFW game that I absolutely do not regret paying for, and I look forward to the future content updates!
Picked this game up on Itch.io a few years back, happy to see it appearing here! I personally went into Gianna not expecting it to be my cup of tea, but after playing the demo was thoroughly proven wrong.
I absolutely want to praise the lewd content, it's an enormous draw to the game and is handled incredibly well. Status based effects are an absolute winner and the range of effects they apply are incredible, being genuinely fun to track down and see them all inflicting various membersr of your party. Bad ends are all over the place, and have an enormous variety in their execution.
But that leads into the true reason that I think this game deserves the price tag. As an actual game, it is wonderfully designed to feed your urge to explore every nook and cranny but to also respect your time. From the journal which allows to see how many statuses and bad ends you still have to see, to fast travel to main hubs and a feature that I won't spoil directly but allows you to pinpoint in on the game's main collectables if you're lost in the sprawling map, Vhiel has made a genuinely engaging game about exploration! The characters, both in the party and out, are fun to interact with. The TF-based combat class system is incredibly fun to play with and find interesting party compositions, there's plenty of little hidden pieces of content to explore and enjoy... The list goes on amounting to hours of enjoyment and genuine replayability if you want to see everything.
There are a few aspects in the large game world that get a little confusing, a couple of TFs and debuffs that aren't entirely self explanatory to remove, but this also feels like a positive thing for the role playing aspect (what kind of kinky world WOULDN'T have someone stuck as a onahole for a few days until their friends find a way to change them back?).
The community is active on Discord and happy to answer questions, as is the dev Vhiel. Would highly encourage anyone into TF to at the very least give it a try!
