Manor

Manor is a game in which you transform a manor full of visitors into creepy, near identical maids (or non-identical alraunes/succubi, or identical maids if you set the option). It looks like a board game, but it's more of a sim game.

It's inspired by Escape the Manor (a Student Transfer scenario by Narg) and (with permission) the characters and flavour draw heavily from it; other inspirations include similar stuff in other games (for example Chambers of Pandemonium).

Development of this game and Incarnasoul is supported by my patreon (or subscribestar for those who prefer it). I'm keeping an eye on the discussion thread, but I'm easier to reach on my development discord.

Entertaining, well made game with high replayability. Even after a few games new situations come up that keeps the interest high.

In addition to the two step maid transformation there are also Succubi and Alraunes/Bees.

The variation to start with spening the first 30 points on a Succubus made it for me more challenging and the Succubus following the visitors is fun.

The Alraune seeds take a long time and often the infected visitor puts in the meantime a maid dress on his/her own. For me the game ended both times after the Alraune grew (continuing after the end made the bees take over).

The many settings could be used to make the game easier, but I probably would prefer game modes like "Succubus" or "Bee"-Challenge with balanced settings.

Some small UI improvement ideas:

  • While I'm not 100% sure what visitor's corruption effects, I often looked it up, but there is no easy to access the value.
  • Maybe make the room cards need a double click to be selected (every now and then I accidently focus on a room)
  • and (I know very picky) it would be nice if the scroll wheel works with the messages on the right side.

Most games I try are not R rated, but glad I tried Manor. Makes me want to design a game with similar mechanics.

Will check out new versions for sure.

For what this game currently entails, it is a very nice repayable experience and if you like tower defence, resource management games, this will be fun for you.

Tf wise, is really just tfs into maids. Either that be mtf or ftf, given what this game was inspired by, I'm not sure if they have plans to add other tfs into the game but it's indeed very possible to add more. Either those tfs be on top of the already existing maid tfs with each tf providing a unique perk. Or different maps with different themings so what one map layout is maids, another is say cow girls or succubi though I dunno if the creator plans to do that.

While you can and will have fun with this game if you haven't played what it is inspired by, that's only because this game lacks any form of a story which to its credit, isn't necessary. The idea is to transform visitors into maids, you don't need to know anything else to enjoy this game but if you are looking for a story driven game, this game isn't it.

The current build of this game is already filled with replicable content with a menu to edit certain features. Since this game also seems to not be very far into development, I see a lot of potential for this games future if even a demo can get me to replay it so much.

This might be one of my most anticipated games on this website yet.

Awesome game that really captures the appeal of Escape the Manor. It would be cool to have a mode with more characters though, maybe the Student Transfer ones?

Also, there's no model for Oni, the maid with the red ringlets that Kazuto gets transformed into in some routes.

Solid game, really brings me back to that student transfer scenario. One thing that the scenario had though, was that you were the one being transformed and controlled. Hopefully an update lets you play as the visitor instead of the mistress, and maybe you can also avoid being transformed or go with it

A  fun game, like the options you have, already.

Do hope that in the future, you can get some more options and guests.

Perhaps a way to improve the hotel, if you have more maids to do the work?

One thing I was missing, was the Maid room(s),

The option to switch clothing is nice, just hope that in the next version, not only the guest their suitcase gets calulated in, but also how far things are switched out.

Would be fun if you can make a guest so Maid/Hotel secrets hunting, they aquire a maid uniform in order to find out what is going on.

Something about wanting to get into a servant only part of the hotel.

But yeah, a solid game, for what is already there, short & sweet.

Fast or slow game (re)runs.

A must try.
