Treasure on the Coast

You're just an average guy, living an average life, in an average city. Until one day, you decide that you've had enough. That you want to be something special for once. Driven by stories of lost treasure buried in a haunted forest up the coast, you decide that you will be the one to find it. Packing food and supplies for several days, you hike out and begin exploring.

Will you finally make something of yourself and find the lost treasure? Or will the forest's mysteries prove too much to handle?

Druid

A strange and wild man living in the middle of the forest. He appears to have some strange power over the creatures of the forest.

Cowboy

A rough, gruff, and altogether tough rancher. The funny thing is, there never seem to be any cows around for him herd, and the way his hand inches to his lasso when he sees you is a little unnerving.

Eisen

A tricky, seductive demoness who's grown bored with hell. Maybe there'd be something in it for you if you managed to brighten up her day.

Elleria

A beautiful angel who was captured and imprisoned in hell.

Rinklin

A nasty, unpleasant little imp. The only thing he loves more than spready misery and unhappyness is getting his rocks off while he's doing it.

v0.2.1:

To play the game, extract everything into a single folder and then open Demo.html in your browser to start.

With that out of the way, this is a HTML adventure game with a decent amount of Java script worked into it for the game engine. Story-wise there isn't much to this game: you're hunting a treasure and exploring along the way.

That's it.

Graphics are servicable for the game engine, if a little basic with this Beta release, and everything appears to be functional with the combat engine (if a little unfairly in the favour of the CPU from my game time). Interactivity is almost on par with your average RAGS game and the command interface is about the same. Transformations can occur all the game from items you interact with and actions you take in the game, but the majority of them are predictable to see coming.

It's a time kill playing the game as-is, but there are a high number of transformation possibilities in the game version available and a decent amount to explore. But I found myself a little bored as I played through and wanting more from the game world.

Cautiously recommended, but I'm fairly sure that this is a discontinued game.
