Homecoming

This is the story of a later days master of the Stardust Order, some Legionaires and their fight against an ancient evil far out in the mountains.

Meet the Ravenguards, unwelcoming townspeople, undead and other dangers and be the hero(ine).

Set in a crossover between Jack Vance's Dying Earth and Joe Dever's Lone Wolf gamebooks this is a  new game in beta. This game will need further work, and I would like to get constructive feedback. Among the questions I have is: do the sidebars work; ie: do the players use them to interact with the NPCs?

Regarding the Patreon link: A couple of people have asked me in the last few years about a patreon link for my games. I cannot accept any money for games, or I would have to ask my boss for a special allowance to work in my spare time: I live in a country with special job regulations.
Pervy Sage is an artist who will illustrate all my games in due time. Pery has a patreon:

Perversity is a one man operation working on art commissions, while also working on different projects of his own creation. When dealing with commissions he's willing to undertake any kind of art request. While the projects he works on tend to usually sit in the science fiction, or superpowers genre of games. His projects tend to look more reflect real life situations, than fantasy outlooks (IE: the real world is a pretty bad place, and he doesn't see any particular reason to hide that, or lie about it) the real world is a grimdark setting, and his projects tend to reflect this.

You are exiled to the mountains because the Stardust Guild of wizards doesn't like you.
Some Legionaires are banished with you: to the end of the known world.
Maybe you shouldn't have told the guildmaster what you think about him...

Maybe this is a chance: at first glance it is mainly dreary and cold.

As is often the case you are called to save a corner of the world from whatever evil remains after the Supreme Master of the Legion killed Evil itself some ages ago. You will need to see to some of the problems: if you didn't, evil would revive and the people of Eavenseydie would be lost.

You are free, however, to interact (or not) with the townspeople and your fellows: within limits. The old man kills rapists, plain and simple: so you cannot do that. Not that you would, of course. But since the tonwspeople lack a certain ...happiness, getting laid is rather difficult (and not yet wholy in the game: all interactions are getting extended; this is the beta where you can complete the main story line).

Master Corvin of the Stardust Guild: the Player Character.
Some Legionaires, including an old master that some may know from certain solo adventure books....
Undead
Robbers
Guards
Townspeople

If you do not manage to solve something, visit the other options. This is no more complicated than a Lone WOlf game book, really.

You can interact with people using the right mantle. Please do this on the sum-up pages at the beginning of each chapter (with the graphics from the Book Of Days). This is work in progress, though: not everyone has yet gotten their interactions.
Also I may switch these options into the main text.

Changes are coming, but I would like more feedback to adjust the game to both better functioning and player interests.

This is a finished story from Blauz' dark fantasy universe(s) mixed with magical power fantasies. I've read his The Baroness Affair several years ago, which I still love. You've never finished it if I'm remembering correctly, Blauz! >:/
If you've never read his medieval stories, it's got that gritty realism vibe like in the The Witcher games, minus the dwarves and elves.
The characters seem to be out of character rarely and I didn't get what's happening at first sometimes (e.g. after haggling with the young blacksmith things went BOOM all of the sudden), but he's really putting a lot of effort into his detailed writing with very fluent changes AND sudden twists.
The writing is still a bit stiffly, but he improved quit a bit over the years!
I think I've read about 3 hours and the story contains little decisions, a bit erotic and no actual sex. The transformation part is forgotten for the most part.
The few pictures are really tasteful, especially compared to his raw hardcore pics in some previous games.
I was eager to know how things would end, but on the other hand a bit grumpy that there was no sex at all ^^
Conclusion for myself because I like his world(s): Time well spend, ty.

The line

Be careful what you what you're wish for: you may regret it - you just might get it
I think it should read Be careful what you wish for

Also, there is a line in Last Night, that says  He turns to the scarfaced woman: "You better come with us: the others will bear grudges against those who ate at the master's table." She nods.
We let the other villagers burn the scarfaces woman

I chose to help the Scarface woman, then It assumes I did not. Is this a choice hole when selected it doesn't account for who you chose to help?

Otherwise, a great story. Not much of a "game" yet, however, I really enjoyed it for what it was. Hopefully, this is the setting for a sweet game later.
